Christina Lakeside Resort - Rules & Regulations for all Guests

Welcome to Christina Lakeside Resort - a private, family-friendly destination on the beautiful shores of Christina Lake. We're glad you're here, and we want everyone to have a safe, enjoyable stay.

To ensure a great experience for all guests and owners, please follow the guidelines below.

Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction.

Check-In / Check-Out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Unless you've arranged different times with your rental host - a Christina Lakeside Resort Member/Owner)
• Check-out: 11:00 AM sharp (Unless other plans were made directly with your host)
  

Noise & Conduct

• Quiet hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Disruptive noise or behavior is not tolerated and may result in immediate removal.
• Stay on designated roads and walkways - do not cut through other sites.
• Please show respect to all guests, owners, and resort staff at all times.

Vehicles & Parking

• One vehicle per site only, if your unit has sufficient space. If not, vehicles must be parked in the designated parking lot.
• Extra vehicles, trailers, or boats must be parked in designated areas.
• Speed limit: 5 KM/h throughout the resort.
• Pedestrians always have the right of way.

Guest Registration

• All guests must be registered by the Member/Owner you're renting from, at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

Site Cleanliness

• Keep your site neat and tidy at all times.
• No tarps of any kind.
• Do not leave garbage outside - it attracts wildlife.
• Use the garbage & recycling station near the resort entrance:
• No glass in recycling bins
• Returnables go in the tin shed between the tennis court and office
• No food waste in the compost pile. Food waste must be disposed of in sealed garbage bags in the garbage receptacle.
• Ask resort management if you're unsure where to dispose of something.
  

Pets

• Pets are welcome at the resort - but not all units allow pets.
• Please check with your rental host (CLR Member/Owner) before bringing any animals.
• If pets are allowed in your unit, please follow these rules:
• Pets must be leashed and under control at all times when outside your unit/site
• Use the panhandle area only for off-leash play
• Clean up after your pet at all times
• No defecation on grass common areas used by children or guests
• No excessive barking or unattended pets
• Pets may only swim at the boat launch area

Docks, Watercraft & Swimming

• No boats, jet skis, kayaks, or canoes on the beach or in swimming areas.
• Do not tie watercraft to swim platforms or anchor offshore.
• All watercraft must be moored in an assigned boat slip. Contact your host or the resort office to arrange moorage.
• No waterskiing from docks or shoreline.
• Boat speed must remain 5 KM/h within 200 feet of shore.
• Do not access or use others' watercraft without permission.
• Swim only in designated swim areas. Do not swim off of or near docks. Dock ladders are for emergency use only.
• No lifeguard on duty - swim at your own risk.

Sewer & Septic Use

• For bare land sites with your own personal trailer:
• Ensure your sewer connection is airtight by using a foam gasket to prevent odors and leaks.
• Keep holding tanks sealed and only dump them when approximately 75% full, preferably around 12 noon.

• For ALL sites:
• Only flush human waste and small amounts of toilet paper.
• Do NOT flush: wipes, diapers, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, grease, or food waste.

Fires

• Compliance with Bans: The resort strictly follows all provincial and local fire bans and restrictions - no exceptions.
• Stay Informed: Guests are responsible for knowing current conditions. Please check bcwildfire.ca for up-to-date provincial bans and review the BC Category 1 Campfire Regulations Poster for size and safety requirements.
• Approved Sites & Materials: Burn only approved materials and manage your fire to minimize smoke drifting into other areas. Guests may only have campfires in approved pits. If you have questions, please check with your host or Management.
• Proper Disposal: Ensure proper disposal of all fire-causing materials (barbecue coals, cigarette butts, matches, newspaper, cardboard, and paper/plastic bags).
• No Fire Risks: Absolutely no disposal of materials in a manner that creates a fire risk or litter conditions. Open campfires are permitted ONLY in properly constructed, non-flammable fire pits approved by the Company.
• Adult Supervision: An adult must be present and actively supervising at all times while any fire, hibachi, or barbecue is lit.
• Take all reasonable steps to prevent fire spread from campfires, hibachis, and barbecues.

Washrooms & Facilities

• Access to washrooms and the laundry room are available via a key provided by your host (Resort Member/Owner).

Alcohol & Substance Use

• Alcohol is permitted at your rental site only.
• Disorderly conduct or public intoxication is not permitted

Damage & Liability

• Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to resort property.
• The Resort is not liable for:
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, vehicles, or watercraft
• Injuries or accidents due to negligence, fire, weather, or natural causes
• Any rule violations may result in immediate eviction and/or being denied future access, at the sole discretion of Resort Management.
